Crépuscule / Dusk: A Tapestry of Contemporary Lebanese Women’s Poetry
Bringing together over 100 poems by more than 60 contemporary Lebanese women poets, Crépuscule – Dusk is a powerful anthology that captures the multiplicity of voices shaping Lebanon’s literary landscape. Trilingual in French, English, and Arabic, this collection is the result of four years of research, weaving a lyrical journey through a century of evolving identities, collective memory, and personal expression. Enhanced by artworks from Etel Adnan, Laure Ghorayeb, Huguette Caland, Afaf Zurayk, Manar Ali Hassan, and Jana Eid, the book is both a poetic and visual testament to the richness of Lebanon’s creative spirit.
Designed by -scope Ateliers, the book echoes the anthology’s rhythmic depth, balancing text, translation, and image in a layout that invites fluid exploration. More than just a collection, it is a literary and artistic map—an atlas of voices that refuses to be confined, offering readers a layered, immersive experience in poetry, language, and contemporary art.
