Our fully equipped image and production atelier was primarily devised to give us with the space and ability to freely experiment and drive development.
We think of and work on design and production in tandem for every project undertaken.
Brand Strategy and Identity
Starting with how the brand sees itself (Brand Positioning and Brand Personality), to what it commits to offering or doing (Brand Promise) and the fundamental principles by which it will live (Brand Values), we define the strategic framework of the brand in a fashion that strikes a compelling difference with the target audiences.
It is only then that we proceed to shaping the physical framework of the brand to reveal a unique identity that will stand the test of times.
Logo Design and House Style
In the case of some corporates, young companies, events or associations where a full branding strategy is not needed, the logo and house style are still the result of a well-thought design exercise.
We develop a complete house style to guide brand identity applications – from shapes to colors, typography and marketing templates – across all areas of the brand.
Packaging and Labeling
Working on a packaging project entails both structural and graphical aspects. We are firm believers that production is in continuous dialogue with design and we always work the two in tandem. We focus our attention on the technical and physical requirements of the package before creating the information architecture and developing the graphic features that will draw the consumer’s attention.
Our fully equipped production atelier gives us the space and ability to offer our clients hand-crafted bespoke boxes for both corporate and retail needs.
Book and Publication Design
At -scope Ateliers, we are passionate about the art of the book. We collaborate closely with authors, editors, and publishing houses to transform manuscripts into high-quality publications.
Our expertise encompasses every stage of the bookmaking process, from meticulous typographic design and grid systems to the selection of premium papers, materials, and binding techniques. We pay close attention to detail, ensuring each book is a unique object that stands out on the shelf.
We also specialize in the creation of bespoke and limited-edition books, offering a personalized approach to book design and production.

When it comes to highlighting our clients online presence, a well-thought of website is key. This means a design that is faithful to the brand identity, but that also includes an intuitive navigation and fits within the trends of today.
This also entails developing alongside the website structure the right SEO method, and incorporating and constantly feeding it with the right elements.
Production and printing handling
-scope Ateliers’ production team is experienced in the field of printing. This experience is combined with a continuous updated knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques available on the market. Thanks to a thorough understanding of these offers, we are able to afford our clients informed guidance when relevant, starting with:

Our wide range of papers, clothes, fabrics and leather—and the various binding techniques we master—can fit all of your needs and ideas.
We are equipped with a high quality color calibrated digital press and a fine-art printing plotter, in addition to our sewing, binding and finishing machinery. This equipment allows for short-run printing, on-demand printing, and printing with variable data for each impression.
We print and produce bespoke books, publications, notebooks, agendas and binders.
Made-to-measure packaging
We produce bespoke packaging and boxes for corporate and end-of-year gifts, for retail, and for luxury items, using covering materials from wide ranges of papers, fabrics and leather.
We also specialize in archival storage boxes, made with archival-quality specifications to provide protection that lasts generations
Production workshops
In our Atelier, we welcome Graphic Design students to share with them the essentials of manual binding, from sewing folios to crafting hard covers, combining pages and covers, and the beauty of Japanese binding.
This hands-on experience blends production and design, reflecting what we love to share—an encounter that encompasses both the technical and creative facets of our field.
Folio sewing
During our workshops, we delve into the intricate art of manual folio sewing. Guided by our artisans, the students learn the essence of this age-old technique. They are encouraged to experiment with the rhythm of the needle and the texture of the thread to unite the folios that will later be bound to the book cover.
Hard cover making
We then delve into the world of hardcover creation—a craft that marries artistry with precision. The students discover the meticulous process of gluing printed artworks onto sturdy pieces of cardboard. As the covers take shape, they are then united with the inner pages.
