Le fil de la lune | “The thread of the moon”
In the heart of Beirut's embroidery workshop, two skilled artists, Imane Salameh and Randa Siblani, weave a tale of peace with a white path leading to a full moon. The story inspires novelist Dima (Dominique) Eddé to pen a timeless tale for all ages, accompanied by calligraphy from Samir Sayegh, translated from French by Nadine Touma, and illustrated with embroideries by Salameh and Siblani and watercolors by the author.
As a co-founder of the non-profit association, Le temps brodé - Khayt el Zaman -, Eddé helps to foster the growth of embroidery and weaving talents in Lebanon, leaving a lasting legacy of beauty and creativity.
