Sursock Museum Exhibition

Honoring Abdel Hamid Baalbaki: A Tribute to Art, Home, and Resilience

The Sursock Museum presents an exhibition dedicated to Abdel Hamid Baalbaki, celebrating his deep ties to the South and his vision of home. His work—shaped by the landscapes of Jabal Amel and his passion for art and literature—reflects a lifelong engagement with place and memory, even as his personal library, once a treasured repository of rare books, has been lost.

-scope Ateliers designed the exhibition’s visual identity, creating a cohesive logo, posters, social media assets, and collateral. Our work extends to wall texts, cartels, and exhibition graphics; in the first section, our interior-inspired design pays homage to Baalbaki’s personal library, drawing inspiration from his furniture sketches.
