Under-Writing Beirut–Ouzaï: Production of visuals for the artist's solo exhibition at Marfa' Gallery

In her multi-chaptered project Under-Writing Beirut, Lamia Joreige investigates historically and personally significant locations within Beirut's present. The new chapter, Ouzaï, is in the early stages of this artistic research, and takes up the histories and dynamics of this suburban district of Beirut.

-scope Ateliers has participated to the drawing of maps and the elaboration of visuals based on aerial photographs from the Directorate of Geographical Affairs in the Lebanese Military.
